Greg posted recently and mentioned that we have finally tackled a thorough rearranging of the house. We threw away or donated a ton of stuff. (How did we end up with all that stuff in the first place?). The house feels better than it has felt since we moved in, and we are trying really hard to keep it cleaned and organized.
Gabriela and Mikaela now have a “big girl” room to themselves. They love the freedom to play with some of their nicer toys without worrying about the little girls running off with the pieces.
The three little girls are sharing the huge purple room, and we FINALLY got Victoria moved out of her crib. The top bunk is empty for now, but like Greg said, we are hoping to adopt again soon. We are just waiting for God to show us which child he wants us to pursue. (If God sends us a boy instead of a girl, there is room to add a twin size bed in there.)
The office downstairs is now also our bedroom, so we moved our school books and art supplies to the dining room to make space for everything. ( I just noticed that I took these pictures before we replaced the bulbs and globes not the ceiling fan. Those are fixed now).
It has only been two weeks since we moved everything around, but so far all the kids are doing a very good job of cleaning up and putting things back where they belong. The house feels bigger and cleaner now that everything has a place. I just hope we can keep it like this!
